L-Carnitine can promote decomposition of fat. It plays an important role in metabolism of long chain fatty acids. It is also used in sport nutrition to raise energy, endurance and stamina during heavy exercise, to compensate for losses incurred after exhaustive exercise, to increase resistance to fatigue and to effect fast recovery.
